The church and Luckington Court next door were used in the BBC series of 'Pride and Prejudice'.   The church is popular for weddings and we welcome enquiries.

Grade 1 listed church dates back to 12th century.  It had alterations and additions made in the 15th century and in 1872 further restorations were undertaken using designs of English architect, Sir Arthur Blomfield.

Architectural points of note:

The Parochial Church Council of this Church were successful in securing a grant for the HLF Listed Place of Worship Roof Repair Fund.  The work started on repairing the roofs in May 2017 and was completed in February 2018.

Work is now ongoing to restore the box tombs and military graves up in the Churchyard. The box tombs had been surrounded by safety railing for the past few years.

The next project is fundraising for a WC and mini kitchen and the PCC have received some funding support already from the Headley Trust, the Wiltshire Historic Churches Trust and from Luckington and Alderton Parish Council for which they are very grateful. This will be a long journey but will really improve our lovely church.
